We have worked with Coleg Cambria for many years, previously fitting out their Deeside campus so we were delighted when they asked us to design booths for their new welding facility at the Llysfasi campus.

We designed, manufactured and installed ten Acousto Welding Booths and one Grinding Bay complete with full Nederman Extraction System, we also kitted them out with our Down-draft Grinding Table and Training Column Tables. Each welding bay features a viewing window, sliding curtain strip entrance and special brackets for mounting and locking welding machine sets on to the walls.

To complete the job, we also supplied their MMA Welding Inverters, MIG Welding Machines and a Plasma Cutting Machine.

This installation was a particularly challenging one for the Weld Safe team. Not only was it one of the largest installations we had completed, but it had to be manufactured within a tight deadline. The job consisted of 16 large Acousto booths designed to include viewing windows and swing arm entrances, we also installed additional separation areas to aid in noise reduction.

Since this original installation we have completed another two Acousto orders for SB Components.

TecQuipment approached us to design, manufacture and install welding booths in their workshop. For this bespoke design, we had to take into consideration the limited height and ensure we made the best use of the space available. This system included Telescopic Swing Arms which covered openings of up to 5 metres.

We love a bit of orginality and for this new build they chose to step away from the norm and opted for a green finish to their welding curtains.

Designed and installed by Weld Safe, 6 booths were fitted to existing walls along with a larger three sided booth complete with the relevant extraction systems and a BuildPro Table.

Weld Safe were approached by West Suffolk College to design and install the Acousto Boothing System in to their new engineering department. Utilising the space availlable we manufactured double welding booths complete with two viewing windows to the front with sliding track entrances.

To ensure the college had everything that they needed for this installation we worked closely with Nederman, who provided them with the appropriate LEV requirements. We also installed two of our downdraft tables and a hand flame cutting table, designed specifically for them.

As part of the manual welding production line upgrade, we were approached by Witters to manufacture and install new welding bays.

For this bespoke design we used Acousto panels as dividers between each weld bay, configured as one tacking bay and three double welding bays. Each dividing panel also featured a viewing window. The bay entrances comprised of sliding curtain strips which were cut to their specified length, viewing windows are in the centre of each span.

The finishing touch to this job, a selection of Weld Safe Downdraft Benches were manufactured and installed in each bay.
